Final Thoughts

Whether you want a scenic viewpoint, a spiritual stop at a temple, or just a relaxing walk along a stream, Bukhansan offers a hiking experience that fits your style. It’s hard to believe such nature is this close to the city.

Start small, pack light, and reward yourself with some dumplings or makgeolli at the bottom of the hill. That’s the true Bukhansan way.
